Whatcom County Select offers a level of play between Premier League play of the WFC Rangers and Recreational play of WCYSA.
Teams: For the 2024/2025 season teams will be offered from U11/12 to U15 (birth years 2014-2010) for both boys and girls. Age groups may be combined to form teams if necessary.
2024/2025 Commitment:
Summer season: July 29th – August 28th
Fall season (U12 – U14, U15 Boys): September 3rd – early December
Winter girls HS (U15 girls) season: November 25th – Late March
Spring season: February 10th – early April
Teams will train twice a week when in season. All teams will attend the Starfire Xtreme Cup in Tukwila August 9th-11th . The fall season will consist of 14 games, spring season will consist of 6 games in the North Puget Sound League (NPSL). The girls high school season will also consist of 14 games.
All players will participate in the summer and fall or winter seasons. The spring season is optional, however availability for spring season is considered at tryouts when making player selections.
Cost: The Summer and Fall/Winter combined season fee is $560. The Spring season fee will be $240. These will cover tournament fees, coaching stipends, training and game field rentals, league fees, WYS/WCYSA fees and club administrative costs. Scholarships are available.
Required uniforms will be approximately $100, additional gear is available but not required.

League: WCYSA Select plays in the NPSL. Fall league runs from September through mid-December, most try to reschedule games to be done before Thanksgiving. Girls HS season runs early December – Late March. Spring season runs mid-February through early April.
